Is there an entry fee for Bouddi National Park?
NSW National Parks commonly publishes a vehicle day-entry fee for Bouddi fee areas (planning figure often cited as about $8 per vehicle per day, especially around Putty Beach). Confirm live amounts and payment (machines / Park’nPay / NSW Parks Passes) on the official Bouddi National Park page before you travel. This site never sells or affiliates park entry.
How long from Sydney to Bouddi?
Allow roughly 90–100+ minutes each way by car depending on traffic and route (M1 toward Gosford, then Central Coast roads to Killcare / Putty Beach / The Scenic Road). Build a buffer for weekend return traffic.
What should I do first on a first visit?
Most first-timers choose either Putty Beach (drive-in, family-friendly) or Maitland Bay (walk-in icon beach with a steep track). Do not stack a full Bouddi Coastal Walk one-way plus Box Head onto a first half-day without logistics.
Where can I camp?
Three official NPWS campgrounds: Putty Beach (drive-in), Little Beach and Tallow Beach (more walk-in / secluded). Book only via NSW National Parks. Overnight vehicle camping outside designated campgrounds is prohibited.
