Park overview & areas
Guide updated · verify NSW National Parks the morning you go
Bouddi National Park is a compact coastal reserve on the NSW Central Coast — roughly 1,500+ ha of beaches, steep cliffs, heathland, woodland pockets and a marine extension near Killcare / Gosford. We acknowledge the Darkinjung People as Traditional Custodians. This guide does not invent cultural detail or speak for Traditional Owners.
Most day visitors sample one or two precincts rather than “doing the park.” Use this hub to pick a focus, then open the area guide for drive notes, facilities, FAQs and related walks. Always verify live conditions on the official NSW National Parks Bouddi page and park alerts.
Recommended order: Park’nPay / entry check → Putty Beach (easy drive-in) or Maitland Bay (icon walk-in) → half-day vs Coastal Walk energy → parking and ocean honesty → Box Head or lookouts only if buffer remains → overnight only via official NPWS camping bookings.

How to use this hub
1. Choose one primary job
Beach day, icon bay, Coastal Walk section, headland photos, picnic Plan B or overnight. Do not invent a hybrid that stacks all six.
2. Open the area guide
Drive notes, don’t-get-this-wrong lists, facilities, related walks and FAQs live on the area page — not on the hub cards.
3. Link walks & itineraries
From each area, jump to matching walks and itineraries with print/download support.
4. Verify official sources
Fees, track status, camping and fire danger change. This site is independent and unofficial — never treat it as live NPWS status.

- Quick-dry towelUseful after Putty Beach or Maitland Bay swims when you still have a climb out
